I have done “teeth in an hour” with success. However, I have an additional three years of specialized training as well as certification as a laboratory technician. Also, “teeth in an hour” isn’t actually teeth in an hour…it’s more like “teeth in 3 hours”. In the entirely of my dental career, I have never seen crowns made in a single appointment that look like real teeth. I have many patients that are also dentists, and none of them have ever requested to have their crowns/veneers made in a single visit. Why? Because they all appreciate the value and the time required to have a world-class ceramist replicate a part of the human body - especially when it’s their own.
